Aromas and flavours of sweet ripe pears and peaches, honeysuckle and red apple, some lees and white spices. Creamy, lush, ripe and off-dry with honeysuckle and warming alcohol contrasted by acidity and flavour impact. Great balance and length – a lovely wine. Drink now and through 2020.

Very expressive and distinctively individual bouquet with aromas of lees, beer, ginger, baked lime and lemon, pressed flowers and manuka honey. On the palate – dry, ripe and textured with plenty of acidity and lees derived teasers; flavours of sweet lime and lemon, honey and lees. Long finish – a lovely wine. Different yet delightful. Best from now and through 2022.

Ripe, bold, oaky, black fruits of sweet Doris plum and blackberry; toasted brown spices, some meaty fleshy dark berry aromas, concentrated and complex as well as youthful. On the palate – dry, youthful, fruity, firm textures and lengthy on the finish. Flavours of dark berries and dark plums, firm tannins and fresh acidity. A great example of Hawkes Bay red wine; needs cellar time for sure. Best from 2020 through 2035.
